Waconia Ride – In 1/29/2012This is not your typical ORA race as it is limited to the VINTAGE classes listed below. This is NOT a regular Season Points event. However, this will be the 1st race of the Wahl Bros’ Vintage Challenge (WBVC) 2012. Racing Starts at 12 noon SHARP! We are running the exact format as in previous years, so if you have raced this event in the past, you will not see any changes. All classes race with LESS THAN 10 entries will be a FINAL only (No Heat Races). All Classes receive both a Trophy and Payback. Trophy’s are 1st; 2nd, and 3rd place, and are awarded on site immediately after the races. Payback is awarded back to 3rd place, and will be mailed out shortly after the races. The payback amounts will be determined after all ORA race day expenses are covered. The payback schedule will be 1st place 50%; 2nd place 30%; and 3rd place 20% based on class entries.
The race is held near the Waconia Lakeside Ballroom, located at 8155 Paradise Lane (just off highway 5) in Waconia, Minnesota (MAP) The Wahl Bro's Vintage Challenge was set up once again as a three race series. Eleven classes would score points at each race.
There are no additional entry fees to run the WBVC. Show up, enter and run your classes and you will also be scored in the series.At the 3rd race the high point Driver of each class will win a very nice trophy supplied by Wahl Bros Racing Products along with $90.00 1st-$60.00 2nd-$30.00 3rd. On top of all that, the overall high point driver will get a very nice traveling trophy to take home for the year! |
